We are currently looking for foster homes for our many Chiweenies. We really need homes with older couples or no childern households as some of our dogs come in scared of kids. To foster all we require is you fill out the needed paperwork as well as a home check. You will be required to provide food, love, toys and a warm place to sleep at night. The rescue wil pay for all medical expences. So Cal Chiweenie Rescue will do most adoptions but we do ask that our foster parents provide us with updated pictures as well as bios about each dog in their care as we are unable to get to know each dog like the fosters can. Most of our adoptions take place with the foster parents present as they can answer any questions that the adopters may have about the dog. You will be asked to bring them to bimonthly adoption events but will not be required to stay. If you foster and then adopt the dog in your foster care the adoption fee is only $25 and you have first choice on the dog if you choose to adopt.
