Dogs for adoption

Blitz: 5 year old male Chiweenie. Blitz is a very laid back and faithful companion, that loves to be held. He does very well with other dogs and most cats. He loves playing with kids, but may need supervision around small children.

Kyle: 5 year old male long haired Chihuahu Terrier mix. Kyle loves to run and play outside, you can take him to the dog park and he will play and explore for hours. He would do best with no childern or older ones, he needs someone who will be able to play with and take him on walks for atleast an hour a day, he loves to play ball. He would be great for an older couple who wants a friend to take on nice walks through the park or along the beach. He gets along great with older calm dogs but is not a big fan of hyper puppies and he loves everyone, no matter who you are he is always in your lap wanting to give you kisses.

Frank: 2 year old male Chiweenie. Frank could be the poster child for the Chiweenie, he loves to snuggle up on your lap while you are sitting on the couch and just be part of your daily chores. He is extermly well mannered, he knows sit, stay, leave it and does not eat any type of food besides his dog food. Little kids can pull on his ears and legs and he just looks that them, he does not growl or snap. He gets along great with other dogs as well and loves to play.

Toyota: Miagi is a very sweet little guy he is 5 years old. He is an absolute sweetheart a real chi lovers chiuahua.He is 5 pounds full grown.He is great with kids other dogs and people. He needs work on housebreaking but would be easily litter trained.

Jack: 1 1/2 year old male Chihuahua. Jack loves to just lay around and be lazy all day. He is just a chill little dog who loves to lay in the lap of his owner and bask in the sun on warm days. He gets along with other dogs as well as kids but can get a little scared when you leave him alone for an extended amout of time.

Karma: 3 year old female long haired Chiweenie. This little girl was just rescued from deathrow at the Devore Animal Shelter today. She is dog friendly and loves people. We will have more information about her as we get to know her a little better so keep checking back with us.

Delta: 1 1/2 year old male Chihuahua Weimaraner mix. Delta is gets along great with other dogs as well as kids he can run and play with them for hours. His favorite place to be is by your feet sleeping while you are sitting down working on something. He has extermly big, dumbo ears that stick strait out from the side of his head like an airplane, is slightly cross eyed and has legs as long as a models.

Huck: Hi, I'm Huckleberry, but you can call me Huck. They say I'm part Dachshund, but I look more like a terrier. I am about six months old. I sleep quiet through the night and I love to play (with people and other dogs)! I'm a little afraid of people at first, but I like making new friends. I am great with kids. I'm also not very good at jumping, so I don't get up on the furniture.

Haily: I know Haily is not a Chiweenie but she touched the hearts of so many people that we could not leave her at the shelter to die. She is a 5-6 year old pure bred Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was used by a family to raise puppies her whole life and when they felt she was no longer needed by them they just dumped her at the Devore Animal Shelter. When we asked about her at the shelter they did not want us to take her and told us how awful of a dog she was and how she will kill other dogs. Well we got her out anyways and, contrary to everything they told us, she just wanted to play with other dogs. Because Haily is a bully breed she is going to need an extra special home that has had bullies before as she is extermly powerful.
